Fatal Crash In Nelson County

A woman is dead after a crash in Nelson County.

Twenty-eight-year-old Casey Lynn Schultz of Michigan, North Dakota was driving west on highway 2 near Petersburg around 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon. She entered a curve in the road and drove into the median. She then hit a road sign and became airborne.

Schultz was taken to a facility in Grand Forks but was pronounced dead.
