Partial Roof Collapse Closes Down Thumper Pond

After a partial roof collapse, Thumper Pond Resort in Otter Tail County was closed for the day.

Just before midnight, Ottertail Fire and Rescue and Sheriff’s Office responded to the roof collapse at the water park area of the resort.

No one was hurt.

30 guests were relocated to a hotel nearby for extra precautions.
