NDSU Students Study Violence and Alcohol Relationships

Students at NDSU learn about the relationship between alcohol and sexual violence.

Presenters at NDSU discussed the social norms regarding sexual behavior and alcohol use in students.

One of the key points highlighted is, if you see something, say something.

The role of alcohol in victim blaming was also discussed.

Nicklaus Redenius, Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention: “Our student well-being and safety is paramount here at NDSU and so this topic is very relevant to not only, again promoting that but also preserving it for our students.”

At the end of the session, students signed a pledge to take a stand against sexual violence.
