Fargo School District Responds to Pro-Life Club Debate

Fargo Public School leaders are responding to alleged discrimination over two student’s efforts to start a pro-life club.

In a letter to the Thomas More Society, a national public interest law firm, the school says administration at Davies never received an application for students to form a Davies Teens for Life group.

They did receive an application at North to form a Spartans for Life group, but it was incomplete.

The district says students who want to start a club, may do so through the proper application process.

Lawyers for the students had claimed their rights were violated under the Federal Equal Access Act and the First Amendment.
