6 Minnesota Men Charged for Joining ISIS

Authorities in Minnesota charge six men they say attempted to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group.

A criminal complaint says the men sought to reach countries near Syria by flying from the airports in San Diego and New York City, but were stopped.

Authorities claim the men were conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.

The complaint alleges the six men were in in contact with another Minnesota man who has worked to recruit Western fighters.
