Convicted Sex Trafficker Wants New Trial
Defense attorneys want a new trial for Prince Jones, the man convicted of promoting prostitution with a 13-year-old girl at a Moorhead motel.
Jones’ court-appointed attorneys say the jury was exposed to inadmissible evidence during the trial.
They say confidential information was disclosed regarding the pre-sentence investigation of co-defendant Eyeesha Hinton.
Clay county prosecutors say a new trial is unwarranted.
Jones remains in jail awaiting sentencing on Monday.
