Prisoners on the run in South Dakota

Law enforcement are searching for two inmates who escaped from the state penitentiary in Sioux Falls.

Authorities say 29-year-old Brandon Suess and 32-year-old Troy Chase were last seen yesterday afternoon working on prison grounds.

They didn’t show up to the minimum-security unit for an inmate count at 3:45.
Suess is serving an eight-year sentence for third-degree burglary and a seven-year sentence for grand theft.

Chase is serving three years for forgery.
