June 9 City of Fargo election results are certified

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The results of the June 9 municipal election in Fargo are now official.

Cass County Canvassing Board met Monday to officially certify the results.

Josh Boschee was elected mayor and Nikkie Gullickson and Chad Peterson were elected to the City Commission.

All three will serve four-year terms beginning July 1.

A swearing-in ceremony will be held during the commission’s July 6 meeting.

Voters also passed an extension of the 1% Infrastructure Sales Tax through 2048.

It passed with nearly 73% support.
