The Ronald McDonald House in Fargo is getting a little extra help from a 13-year-old entrepreneur from Florida.

Kayla Abramowitz is the founder of Kayla Cares 4 Kids, a nonprofit that collects and donates entertainment and educational materials to hospitals across the country.

She’s the winner of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, beating out 2,000 other students.

She donated a Wii, video games and other items to the Ronald McDonald House.

“I am so excited; it’s so fun to be here. I think it just really makes kids happier and a lot of kids need these items and not be bored,” said Kayla.

Kayla says her battle with Crohn’s disease and juvenile arthritis are some of her inspirations for starting the nonprofit.
