The sidewalks at the Red River Zoo are filled with colorful art.
This is the first year Chalkfest was held at the zoo.
The event featured live music, food, and other activities for kids.
It is sponsored by the Art Partnership, and is a way for people of all ages to enjoy the fun of chalk and bring art into the community.
“The thing that makes this event so great is that it’s really a family friendly event. We’ve had everything from brand new babies to grandparents in wheel chairs, and everybody in between. It’s a perfect event for all kinds of people,” says Dayna Del Val Art Partnership Executive Director.
Chalkfest is the biggest art making event in Fargo.
