Student Involvement Expo at NDSU

NDSU students are starting off the school year by getting involved.

The college encourages students to join clubs and organizations by holding a student involvement expo.

There are more than 300 different groups to choose from including athletics, academics and Greek life.

NDSU’s student government organized this year’s event outside in hopes of drawing a larger crowd.

They say they saw at least three times the amount of traffic compared to last year.

They also say joining an organization can make a huge difference in a student’s college career.

“That’s one thing, when I meet incoming students, to really push by starting out to join an organization just to get established and used to campus and to make those connections,” says Mikayla Young of NDSU Student Organizations.

More information about all of NDSU’s clubs can be found online.
