Intoxicated Man Injured Trying to Climb Fargo Water Tower

A man is hurt after climbing the ladder of a Fargo water tower.

Police say they found 20-year-old Ryan Hillerud, intoxicated and on the ground, bleeding from the head and with an ankle injury.

Hillerud admitted trying to climb the tower in the 1400 block of 10th Street north with 4 to 5 others.

They ran when security lights came on.

Hillerud was cited for minor in possession and issued a criminal trespass warning.
