Noyes Gets Prison Term in Dual State Drug Ring Case

A man accused of dealing meth in North Dakota and Minnesota is sentenced to prison.

A federal judge gave Brian Noyes just three months on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

He pleaded guilty in June.

The charge carries a minimum mandatory term of five years, but Noyes was given credit for accepting responsibility and giving a timely guilty plea.

Authorities say Noyes was part of a drug ring that began in January 2013.
