The SportsCenter Live bus has arrived on the NDSU campus!

Students and ESPN fans lined up to welcome SportsCenter on the Road to town.

KVRR’s Sarah Brechbill has more.

NDSU is welcoming ESPN back for its third year in a row, but if you know anything about bison pride it’s not difficult to figure out why.

Screaming cries and bison horns welcomed the SportsCenter Bus to campus, getting ready for Saturday’s game day.

“I’m not aware of any university in the nation that ESNP has visited three years in a row, maybe they have I’m just not aware of it. It speaks volumes about what the nation, about what ESPN thinks of our university and of our athletic program,” says NDSU President Dean Bresciani.

An athletic program not just boasting some great players but some dedicated fans.

It’s the first homecoming for these NDSU freshmen, and their game day regimen is already set.

“Get up, get ready, go to game day!”

“For the first time ESPN SportsCenter will be in the dome, letting tailgaters set up extra early starting at 4:45 A.M.”

But an early wake–up time doesn’t seem to be an issue for these fans.

“We’re anticipating the possibility that we’ll have to turn people away actually. I think it’s going to be a fired up crowd. NDSU and the Fargo community has responded so well to ESPN in the past,” says Bresciani.

“We’re 4th year national champions and we’re really excited about that. We’re not a huge school but we have a lot of pride in what we do,” says Homecoming Court member Sarah Schmidt.

Not just pride, but bison pride.

The SportsCenter bus will make an appearance in tomorrow’s homecoming parade that starts at 5:30 downtown Fargo.
