High Risk Sex Offender Release Notification

A high risk sex offender from Detroit Lakes is being released from custody on Monday.

49 year old Robert Baca has been behind bars since June of 2014 when he was found near Billings, Montana.

He was wanted after walking away from his Department of Corrections house.

Baca was convicted criminal sexual assault in 1997.

He is considered a level 3, or high risk, predatory offender.
