Shoplifter Threatens to Stab Family Fare Employee

Police are searching for a man who allegedly threatened to stab a grocery store employee while shoplifting meat.

The call came in around 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon from Family Fare in Moorhead.

Police say an employee tried to confront the man about the theft and the man threatened to stab him.

A knife was never actually displayed.

The man fled and police are continuing to look for the shoplifter.
