Bond Lowered for Accused Devils Lake Hardees Arsonist

A judge has lowered bond for a Devils Lake man suspected of burning down a Hardee’s restaurant.

24-year-old Michael Ott’s bond was lowered from $250,000 to $150,000.

Ott faces felony arson and burglary charges along with misdemeanor drug-related counts.

He is accused of taking money from Hardee’s in Devils Lake on October 25th, then setting the business on fire to cover up his crime.

$1 million in damage was done.

Ott is due back in court in January.
