Did You Wear Yours? United Way Celebrates Fourth Annual T-Shirt Day

You may have seen quite a few of people wearing United Way shirts today.

In support of the Live United Movement Governor Jack Darlymple has named November 13th “Live United Day” across the state.

Community members, and businesses supporting United Way are encouraged to wear their t-shirts, and post pictures on social media using the hashtag “Live United FM.”

Organizers say the day is not just about wearing the shirts, but spreading awareness.

“Living on a t-shirt is special because people across the community come out they wear their shirts, but its ore than wearing their shirt we want people to understand that United way is helping people in this community in the most strategic way as possible so while it’s fun to come out and support your shift we have to remember it’s about helping people,” says Kristina Hein, Marketing Director at United Way.

This is the fourth year United Way has hosted its Live United T-shirt Day.
