Fargo One Step from Approving Liquor in Movie Theaters
People in Fargo are one step away from being able to determine which wine pairs best with movie theater popcorn.
A proposal that would allow liquor sales at most Fargo movie theaters has passed the city’s Liquor Control Committee.
The lone member of that committee to vote ‘no’ was City Commissioner Dave Piepkorn.
He says he supports the idea in general but would like to see some restrictions.
“Maybe for G-rated movies, just say “You know, we’re gonna have alcohol not allowed at those things. The combination just doesn’t seem appropriate to me,” Piepkorn says.
The City Commission will likely vote on the proposal at its December 7th meeting.
