Great Plains Food Bank Receives 40,000 Pounds of Mac and Cheese Goodness!

Macaroni and cheese is a classic Thanksgiving side dish, but how about 40,000 pounds of it?

Land-O’Lakes is making sure families in need have all the mac and cheese they need for meals this holiday.

The organization donated a semi full of frozen mac and cheese to the Great Plains Food Bank.

It is the largest hunger-relief organization in North Dakota. The donation to the food bank is a part of Land O’Lakes First Run Program.

“Packages get bumped a little bit, or crushed boxes or over runs of product that need to move. This donation from Land O’Lakes is actually first run product right off their line directly to us,” says Marcia Paulson, Marketing Director at the Great Plains Food Bank.

This is Land O’Lakes 84th donation since the First Run Program began in 2010.
