Semi Veers Off I-29, Lands in Fargo Backyard

A semi-truck crashes through a fence in a south Fargo neighborhood after veering off the interstate.

46-year-old Erdmann Wiens of Steinbach, Manitoba was traveling northbound on I-29 near 32nd Avenue South around 4:30 this afternoon when he suffered a medical condition.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment after the crash.

The semi managed to stop before hitting any houses.

Wiens’ condition is unknown.
