Holiday Lights in Lindenwood Park’s Grand Opening Starts Off Bright
While stores start their discounts, Lindenwood Park is starting to get people in the Christmas spirit by lighting up the river.
Cars line up to drive through more than 60 light displays at the Holidays Lights in Lindenwood Park. The Fargo–Moorhead Sertoma Club puts on the event to raise funds for MSUM’s Speech–Language and Hearing Clinic. Last year, more than 9,000 cars drove through the Holiday Lights. Event organizers say putting up displays is a good way for schools, churches, and businesses to show support for others in the area.
“They just they feel they’re doing something for the community, and they’re helping us raise money to do our mission,” said
The display will be open nightly from 5:30 to 10:00 pm until December 31st. It costs $6 dollars per vehicle. You can save $1 dollar by donating a non–perishable food item.
