Police Say “Nerf Wars” May Have Caused Fatal Car Crash

Authorities are looking at a “Nerf Wars” game as a possible factor in a deadly pickup rollover in Lakeville.

They will try to determine if the game involving Nerf foam-dart guns may have had something to do with the crash.

They’ll examine the pickup tomorrow.

The crash happened near Lakeville South High School after school on Friday.

Two passengers, 17-year-old Jake Flynn and 18-year-old Johnny Price, both of Lakeville, died.

Both were star athletes at the school.

A 17-year-old remains in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center.
