KVRR’s Top Sports Moments: #2 – UND to the Frozen Four

The number two moment on the KVRR Sports Team’s list of the best sports moments of 2015 is the UND Hockey team earning another berth in the Frozen Four.

Former coach Dave Hakstol guided the green and white to a 29-10-3 record, taking UND to its 2nd consecutive Frozen Four, and the 21st in school history (Hakstol would take the head coaching job with the Philadelphia Flyers at season’s end).

UND ended up losing to Boston University in the National Semifinals at TD Garden in Boston, MA.
