Clay County Authorities Say Two Key Meth Distributors Off the Streets

Arrests are made after Moorhead police seize a pound of meth.

Wedell Mickens of Minnetonka and Krista Buggs of Blaine are in the Clay County Jail on Controlled Substance charges.

They were arrested in the 3600 block of 8th Street South as part of a joint investigation.

Police say these are people who are transporting and distributing large amounts of narcotics in not only our area, but probably other areas of the state.

“It’s a substantial amount for the Fargo Moorhead area. It may not be what you would see in some larger cities or some coastal cities but when drugs are broken down and repackaged and distributed this is a pretty substantial amount coming in. This product when it’s sold in grams would reach the hands of several people in our communities,” says Lt. Brad Penas with Moorhead PD.
