One Dead in Car Crash Near Barnesville

One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on I-94 near Barnesville.

The crash happened around 7:30 this morning when a car rear-ended a semi.

A passenger in the front seat of the car died.  Two other people were hurt but the extent of their injuries is unclear.

Names and more information will be released tomorrow.

The semi driver and his passenger were not hurt.

Westbound traffic on the interstate was re-routed until the scene could be cleared.

The road was dry at the time of the crash.
