Honoring Holocaust Victims at Concordia

Concordia College is hosting an art exhibit honoring the victims of the Holocaust living in Minnesota.

The exhibit titled “Transfer of Memory” focuses on the survivors’ lives and hopes and displays how they fashioned their dreams, futures, and families.

“This is an exhibit that is simply unique because it features Minnesota holocaust survivors, where most other exhibits like the museum in Washington, D.C. is very general and universal in nature and here we have something local,” said Dr. Sonja Wentling, Associate Professor of history at Concordia College.

The exhibit is free and open to the public at the Cyrus M. Running Gallery on the Concordia Campus and will be on display through February 12.

The gallery is open from 9:00am-4:30pm on weekdays and from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Sundays.
