Moorhead Changing Laws to Accommodate Uber

The city of Moorhead is changing its city taxi laws to meet Uber’s demands.

The law originally held taxi drivers and uber drivers to the same standards.

The city agreed to change that.

Uber will no longer need to provide names for their drivers…instead the company must provide certification that all drivers have background checks.

Uber will not need to provide its fares to the city and cars will no longer need a sign distinguishing them as Uber.
