Fargo Attorney Announces Run for City Commission

A Fargo attorney is going to make a third attempt at landing on the city commission.

Mara Brust will make her official announcement on Tuesday morning at The Depot.

Brust came in third during Fargo’s special election last April to fill the seat vacated by Dr. Tim Mahoney, who was elected mayor.

Tony Gehrig won that commission race.

Two seats are opening up on the commission with the departure of Melissa Sobolik and Mike Williams, who has reached his term limit.
