Local Girl Scouts Help Raise Money for Officer Moszer

Girl Scouts in the Red River Valley are raising money for Officer Jason Moszer.

Girl Scout troops around the region including troop 30132, at the Moorhead Center Mall are collecting donations.

The annual cookie sale kicked off on Friday, one day after Officer Moszer’s passing.

Troop leaders say they will continue to raise money for as long the Moszer family needs them to.

“Months ago they went to the police station and got to learn what officers do. See the police station. Take their fingerprints. So I think for them, this will help them reflect on the tragedy and understand how important police are to our community,” says Girl Scout Troop Leader Candace Martin.

Girl Scouts will continue to sell cookies every weekend at the Moorhead Center Mall until the March.
