Medical Emergency Causes Crash in Grand Forks

A medical emergency causes a man to crash into a parked tractor trailer at J.R. Simplot in Grand Forks.

Police say the accident happened last night around 11 o’clock.

They say 35-year-old Michael Hutchinson was driving along Stanford Road when he had some type of medical issue, crossed Gateway Drive and struck the trailer.

He had non-life-threatening injuries.

A driver in the parked semi was not hurt.

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash to give them a call.
