Officer Moszer Honored On Capitol Hill
Tributes for fallen Fargo Police officer Jason Moszer echo across the country from Capitol Hill.
All three members of North Dakota’s congressional delegation honored Moszer on the House and Senate floor.
They spoke about Moszer’s service to his community and country.
He served in the Minnesota National Guard before becoming a Fargo police officer.
As well as his final gift, donating his organs to help at least five people posthumously.
Senator John Hoeven says, “Clearly Officer Moszer was a man committed to doing things for others, and consequently he was respected and admired by everyone that came into contact with him.”
Senator Heidi Heitkamp adds, “The loss of an officer in the line of duty is something that devastates an entire community. And in a small state like North Dakota, it has taken a toll on every law enforcement officer, and every resident throughout our entire state.”
“God bless all the men and women who wear the badge,” adds Representative Kevin Cramer, “and God bless the memory of Officer Jason Moszer.”
Moszer was fatally injured responding to a domestic incident in Fargo on February 10th.
