E. Coli Outbreak At Pizza Ranch

It’s believed dough used by Pizza Ranch restaurants for desserts was the likely cause of a nine–state E. Coli outbreak.

It sickened 13 people, including five people in Minnesota and one in South Dakota.

The CDC reports that eight people were hospitalized but there were no deaths.

All have recovered.

Pizza Ranch stopped using its skillet dough mix after the illnesses were reported.

The Iowa-based pizza chain says the last illness was reported January 30.
