Sen. Hoeven Wants New North Dakota Inspection Station
The fifth busiest port along the U.S.-Canadian border could be getting a new inspection station.
Senator Hoeven reviewed the Customs and Border Patrol station in Pembina.
He says the existing facilities pose challenges for inspectors.
Hoeven is working to secure funding for a new nearly $6 million facility that would accommodate both on-load and off-load inspections.
Hoeven is a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
