Moorhead City Manager Under Review?

Moorhead’s city manager is called into a surprise job performance review.

Council member Brenda Elmer made a motion last night calling for an immediate job performance review of Mike Redlinger.

No reason was given for the review.

Council members Mike Hulett and Nancy Otto protested the move.

Hulett called it “highly irregular and unfair” to Redlinger because he was given no time to prepare.

On a vote of 6 to 2, the city council went into executive session for two hours.

They did not speak of the review when the council meeting continued.
