VCSU Professor Accused of Credit Card Fraud

A Valley City State University faculty member has been arrested for credit card fraud.

Long Man Ram Lau, 33, faces charges of unauthorized use of personal identity and possession of stolen property.

Lau is an assistant professor in the Social Science Department.

Police say a tipster sent them pictures of a large amount of credit cards with various names.

That led police to Lau’s apartment where he was arrested Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing and he could face additional charges.
