Purse Snatcher Arrested

Fargo police arrest a man for stealing a woman’s purse outside of Cash Wise.

30-year-old Mlongolelwa Salehe was arrested for strong-arm robbery.

Police say he grabbed the woman’s purse on Friday night outside of the grocery store.

The woman was pulled along the ground about ten feet before the purse strap broke and Salehe ran.

An off-duty officer later recognized him from surveillance photos and called dispatch to make the arrest.
