Williston High School Coach, Teacher Charged with Sexual Assault of a Minor

A Williston high school basketball coach and teacher is accused of having sexual contact with a girl last December.

Walter Eldridge, 33, was arrested Tuesday.

He is charged with misdemeanor sexual assault.

Eldridge is Williston’s head girls basketball coach and an English teacher.

He’s scheduled to make his initial court appearance on Friday.

Police have not said if the girl involved is a student at the school.
