Moorhead Golf Courses Have Weak Start To Early Season

Some golf courses in the area opened their season early but it hasn’t been as busy as some golf pros thought.
 
Moorhead’s Village Green Public Golf Course started their season on March 7th.

It’s a smashing record for the greens, but the numbers are lower than previous years.

The weather is being blamed for the slow season.

“The first two weeks were cool and windy and dry. We got some timely rain which we needed but you can’t play golf in the rain. So April was a little bit of a disappointment,” says Golf Professional Russ Nelson.
 
Russ Nelson also says that this is the first nice weekend they’ve had in the season.

He hopes that it’s all sunshine from here on.
