Garth Brooks Makes Special Fan’s Dreams Come True

Garth Brooks is making the most of his four day stay in Fargo, giving a family battling cancer a night they’ll never forget.

On Thursday, Brooks and Trisha Yearwood met with eight–year–old superfan John Freer, from Langdon, who is battling cancer.

He and his mother Carey got tickets to the show from the Ronald McDonald House.

Someone from the house tweeted Brooks about John.

Brooks arranged the meeting, gave John a shirt, upgraded their seats and gave Carey a set of gifts for mother’s day.

She says the John got rough news Thursday about his cancer fight, so meeting the country superstar was the perfect thing to lift the family’s spirits.
