Sandy’s Donuts Celebrate National Gummy Worm Day

It’s national gummy worm day and a local donut shop joins in on the gooey fun.
 
Sandy’s Donuts sold their “Dirt and Worms” donuts for only $1.

It’s filled with chocolate angel icing, topped with Oreo crumbs and of course a gummy worm.

Sandy’s owner Mark Ostlund says with the special, the donut was selling like hot cakes.

“We are blessed. Sandy’s donuts is so popular in town, it’s been fantastic. We have a great time making new donuts and putting out new fun things just for new donuts or for a holiday or whatever it might be,” says Ostlund.
 
The “Dirt and Worms” donut is sold every day of the week for a $1.95.
