13th Avenue Construction Is Almost Halfway Done

Fargo engineers say the construction on 13th Avenue South is almost halfway done.

More lanes are expected to open up sometime in September.

The overall project will be complete by the end of October.

This week, they plan on paving the northwest corner of the intersection, and paving another main lane along 13th Avenue.

“This summer’s been really good, we had rain recently, but up until then it was dry, so they’re on schedule, they’re doing a good job,” says Jeremy Gordon, project transportation engineer.

The construction team is starting to tear into the old pavement after moving traffic to the new pavement in the West Acres area.
