Man Arrested After Crashing Into Building During Chase

A man was arrested after he crashed into a business after a police chase in Grand Forks.
 
36-Year-Old Mark Molina of Phoenix, Arizona was hospitalized after the crash.

An officer tried to stop Molina for driving erratically on the 2200 block of Gateway Drive shortly before 11 p.m.

He lost control in an alley and crashed through the wall of A & L Siding and Home Improvement.

Lt. Bill Macki with Grand Forks Police says, “The officer recognized the fact that this person was driving just too dangerously, and he was in the process of discontinuing the pursuit when the driver failed to negotiate a turn.”
 
Molina faces eight charges, including DUI, reckless endangerment and burglary.
Molina was driving so erratically that police were reluctant to follow him.
