Man Hospitalized After Shooting at Port of Entry
A man was hospitalized after a weekend shooting at the Pembina Port of Entry.
The Border patrol was notified about a suspicious person in a vehicle near the North Dakota border crossing early Saturday.
When they tried to stop him, he rammed the border patrol vehicle, was hostile and refused to comply with verbal commands.
The agents then fired their guns, but didn’t hit the man.
He was taken to the Cavalier hospital for treatment of self-inflicted injuries which authorities say are not life threatening.
