Last Day On The Force For Veteran Police Officer

A familiar face with the Fargo Police Department is hanging up his holster and turning in his gun and badge.

This is the last day on the force for Lieutenant Joel Vettel.

The 20–year police veteran will become the Executive Director of Fargo Parks on September 6th.

Vettel was hired to take over from Roger Gress who is retiring after leading the department for 20 years.

Gress will work until the end of the year to finish up some projects.
