Driver Cited In Accident Involving School Bus
West Fargo Police responded to the scene of a seven vehicle accident on Main Avenue involving a school bus.
Police Chief Mike Reitan tells KVRR Local News there are no injuries.
The accident blocked traffic on 9th Street East and Main Avenue.
According to a release from West Fargo Police:
On October 4th 2016, at approximately 7:34 AM a West Fargo School bus was turning from Main Ave onto 9th St E. The bus was struck by another vehicle that entered the intersection on a red light, this crash caused the bus to strike several other vehicles. A total of 7 vehicles were damaged in the crash. There are no reports of injuries to any parties, including several school aged children that were on the bus. The driver of the vehicle believed to have entered the intersection with the red light was cited.
