More Cattle Shot Near DAPL Protests
More cattle are attacked near the Dakota Access Pipeline.
A rancher reported that one of his cows in a pasture near Cannon Ball had been shot with a small-caliber firearm.
A second cow was shot with multiple arrows.
The cows were treated by a veterinarian and may survive.
Officials say there is no evidence the attacks are related to the pipeline protests.
The shootings come in the wake of earlier cases involving multiple dead and missing animals in the same area.
The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.
