DAPL Protesters Suspected in Vandalism to Capitol Building

Vandals protesting the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline have struck the North Dakota State Capitol in Bismarck.

The Highway Patrol says oil was dumped on the capitol’s west-facing doors, the sidewalk and on the limestone walls of the building.

Surveillance video is being used to help identify the suspects.

The vandalism happened around 9:30 Monday evening.

Anyone with information is asked to call the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
