Fill the Dome 2016 Results

Oak Grove High School collected the most food donations for the 10th annual Fill the Dome.

Volunteers spent the day packing up their display of food at the Fargodome to donate to the Great Plains Food Bank.

The area schools wrapped up this year’s food drive by raising more than 198,000 pounds of food.

Fargo South took home recognition for having the most creative space for the spaceship they designed with food items.

“These students are on the road to ending hunger and the students who are in second grade now are looking to them for leadership education and guidance,” said Cari Drees of the Great Plains Food Bank.

In the last 10 years, the Fill The Dome event has collected more than 1.7 million pounds of food.
