Fight in North Fargo Leads to Shooting Call; No One Injured

Police responded to home in North Fargo after reports of a person being shot.

Police set up a perimeter on the one thousand block of Oak Street North after calls came into dispatch.

Investigators say two adult men got into a fight and one of the men pulled a gun on the other.

The man did not fire the weapon but during the fight, a car window was smashed and witnesses say it sounded like a gun going off.

There are no serious injuries and no arrests have been made.

“The folks that were involved in this were actually very cooperative with us, and we were able to make contact with them,” said Sgt. Mike Erbes of the Fargo Police Department. “And after speaking with them at length, we determined that while a gun had been brandished, it had never been fired.”

Police say the state’s attorney will review the case before possibly making charges.
